Following Captain William Catterson's untimely death in late 2008, three unlikely mourners marked the passing of the great man with a pub crawl through William's beloved Morriston town. Recounting various tales of his deeds and great speeches over a number of fine beers, the roving party (a poet, a fiddler and a chorister) pondered how best to continue great William's legacy.
With the blessing of William's grieving widow (who was certainly worse for wear), the three made a twenty year commitment to write music and perform in the memory of their hero to as many willing souls as would listen.
As news of the drunken pact spread the trio were soon joined by three travelling minstrels and a local vagrant, equally committed to remembering Captain Catterson and bringing their own unique take on his life and work. Eight years into their adventure, they invite you to join them for an evening of raucous merriment in memory of Captain Cat and his Sailors.
